Everyone’s seen them, but until you step into one, it’s hard to believe how much space is in a 53’ storage trailer. Each of our 53’ storage units adds 4,000 cubic feet (or 450 square feet) of space to your operation. Every unit holds up to 52 doubled stacked pallets. This is real space, and you can have access real fast: In most cases, we’ll deliver your first trailer the next day.
We have more than 36,000 storage trailers in our fleet. When they return from one of our 7,000 customers across North America, they go through a rigorous inspection to ensure they are safe, dark and dry. Once repaired and the unit passes inspection by one of our trained trailer technicians, it’s on its way to the next WOW partner, ready for service.

Trailer Specifications
Dock-height. Weather tight. Safe to drive. Our trailer technicians ensure every one of our 36,000 mobile storage units check these boxes before routing to you. Beyond being safe, dark and dry, you can expect your trailers to be:
- 53’ L X 8.5’ W X 13.5’ tall, or in other words, a standard dry van semi trailer (some locations have other sizes available, a local WOW manager can share available inventory)
- 4,000 cubic feet (or 450 square feet) of space per unit
- Doors on our standard 53’ storage trailers can be swing doors or rolling doors. The openings are 102” wide
